Xilisoft DVD to MP4 is a video converter that rips DVDs to MP4 files. This is an easy-to-use, fast, powerful, and reliable video converter that will let you rip all your DVDs to MP4 files. You may ask, "what do I want an MP4 file for?" Well, if you hope to play video content on most mobile devices, there's a good chance that you will need MP4 files. Right off the top of my head, I can think about the iPod and the PSP. Both of them play MP4 files beautifully. But all of that is off topic. What this application does is simply convert your DVD to an MP4 file. Simple as that. Just insert your DVD disc into the DVD tray. Select the profile that suits you the most and, depending on your computer specifications, the final file will be ready in an hour or more. If you are trying to get video to play on your iPod, iPhone or Zune, I would recommend Xilisoft's other applications, like Xilisoft DVD to iPod, or Xilisoft DVD to Zune. However, if you just need an MP4 file for other reasons, this application will most likely come in handy. MP4 files are also supported by most mobile media players. |
